'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' Tops Easter Weekend Box Office!

G.I. Joe: Retaliation has smashed this Easter weekend’s box office with a gross of $51.7 million!

According to THR, the Bruce Willis and Channing Tatum action flick is now the second-best domestic Easter gross ever, right behind 2010′s Clash of the Titans.

Coming in at number two was the animated film The Croods, earning $26.5 million in its second week of release and bringing its total to $88.6 million.

The number three slot went to Tyler Perry‘s Temptation, which grossed $22.3 million in its debut week.

Rounding out the top five were the Gerard Butler-led film Olympus Has Fallen and Oz the Great and Powerful, which made $14 million and $11.6 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, The Host, which stars Diane Kruger, Jake Abel, Max Irons, and Saoirse Ronan, brought in $11 million in its opening weekend.
