Evan Rachel Wood Steps Out After Giving Birth to Baby Boy

Evan Rachel Wood is spotted out for the first time since giving birth as she shops at Whole Foods Market on Tuesday (September 3) in Los Angeles.

The 25-year-old actress and her husband welcomed their first child just over a month ago in late July. We can’t wait to find out the little guy’s name!

“Two years ago today, I was walking around Venice in the dead of night with Patti Smith, singing lullabies and Madonna. Best. Night. Ever.” Evan tweeted the next day.

“Cant we pull a true blood and just make Darth Vader come back as a vampire in the new Star Wars?” she added later on her account.

    Flawless! Love love love her!

  • Swift

She does not look good with short hair. Hope she grows it longer.

  • beats

Who buys these boring photos besides JJ?

  • Paranoid Android

With this hairstyle she’s totally looks like Greta Garbo

    i want a Greta Garbo movie :) :)

  • CH

    Celebrity hobo

  • Olivia

I didn’t know she had her baby

  • Who???

  • laura

With that hair and that clothes she looks pretty masculine…

  • http://kevinredondo KRP

    she looks amazing

  • Mystified

She looks like a dude. It’s not just the hair. Her face got hard looking as she aged.

  • Austen

This girl has a wonderful sense of style! I hope she keeps the hair short.

  • plenty

I love short hair but it does not flatter her. And her style is nothing special. Does she use a stylist? She should change whoever she uses for her red carpet looks. Most of the time she looks a mess.

  • Austen

Her style is her own. She clearly isn’t trying to impress anyone and that’s why she’s so refreshing. In the end, it’s all about being happy with our own appearance/choices and she obviously understands that. Go Evan!!

  • TFS

@plenty: Given the way she dresses at premieres, I assume she uses a stylist but not a very good one. She is wearing designer gowns but whoever dresses her doesn’t have very good taste because the stuff she wears usually looks too old or garish on her.

  • TFS

@Austen: She looks like anyone else at the super market, nothing special, which is fine but definitely not a wonderful sense of style.

I hope she is still developing her sense of style because she doesn’t have a good idea of what looks good on her. She often looks overdone imo which to me is the sign of someone trying to impress.

  • Moseley

The hair is fierce, the makeup is flawless and the boots are kick-@ss! I have, unfortunately, never seen anyone looking like this at my supermarket!

  • Manney

@Moseley: She has such a beautiful face. I can’t imagine running into her in a supermarket either. I’d feel like a complete toad with my scuffed up Keds and crumpled coupons!!

  • essence

@Paranoid Android: ERW does not look anything like Greta Garbo. I personally don’t find Garbo to be the great beauty most do but these two don’t look a thing alike. ERW was a cute kid but right now she looks very plain and masculine with the short hair. It just does not suit her features.

  • Who???

  • Aries

Ok, I’m missing the amazing style that some seem to be seeing here. Are there more pics to this set?
The whole outfit looks off the rack from Kohl’s or Target which is what I would expect. Most people don’t get dolled up to go to the supermarket.

  • vids

    That’s a woman?

  • Lex

I wouldn’t mind running into her in the produce section!!!!!!

  • mickey.

    ugly chick

  • Whole Foods

@Lex: Me too. It would be nice to have some extra help in the store and she looks like most of the cashiers, so she’d fit right in.

  • Bellio

Only an estrogen based organism (or a jealous mean girl) would not find this woman stunning!

  • Glenn

@Bellio: A lot of girls are intimidated by her open sexuality and just hate on her because she’s a wild child: d. a. s. & b. j. o. d. Oddly enough, that’s the same reason why most men love her!!

  • Tex Mex

@Whole Foods: I’m pretty sure she moonlights at my local Whole Foods. I see her all the time.

  • H.

    thick-necked ho

  • Keekee

She lovely… I bet the baby is a cutie too!!

  • my2cents

Now she isn’t ugly but she’s certainly not stunning. Rather average looking and the short hair doesn’t favor her features.

  • Cerrid

She was so adorable when she was pregnant. I hope they decide on having a big family!

  • Great

This chick is not wild. She’s just an insecure and immature girl who had an affair with a married man. Hopefully other women won’t do the same thing to her and respect her relationship.

  • Wild One

@Great: She is absolutely wild… and doesn’t seem to be insecure at all.

  • Bright Eyes

If this girl were confident and mature, she wouldn’t be sitting around googling herself and creating aliases to write flattering comments about herself on the blogs.

It’s surprising she was able to get off twitter long enough to go grocery shopping. I’ll give her credit for that.

  • Tawney

    @Wild One: She’s so brave: coming out as b i s e x u a l & giving birth naturally! She is rocking the pixie… I hope she keeps it.

  • geez

@Bright Eyes: hehe. Thanks. That last part made me laugh. ERW does seem to have a twitter/Internet addiction.

  • Self-inflicted

You guys look like morons when you complain about her being on the internet & twitter so much!! Simple solution: stop following her and get help for your own twitter/Internet addiction!!

  • geez

@Self-inflicted: Now you’re sounding like an idiot. Noticing someone has issues with excessive Internet use doesn’t mean you have the same problem. Just like noticing someone has issues with alcohol doesn’t mean you’re an alcoholic. And people noticing she’s constantly on twitter doesn’t mean they’re following her. Just glancing at her twitter shows that.

  • Measure

@Tawney: I applaud Evan and Ricki for bringing more awareness to home birthing and the use of birth centers. These choices may not be for every woman, but being more knowledgeable of birth choices is a good thing.
