'How I Met Your Mother' Spinoff In the Works at CBS!

A spinoff series for How I Met Your Mother is reportedly in the works at CBS, according to Deadline!

The series is unofficially being called How I Met Your Father and will be taking a female spin on the original hit show. It will “feature a new group of New York friends and chronicle a female member of the group’s quest to meet her future husband.”

If the series goes through, it is expected that the characters will be introduced in the HIMYM series finale next year and that the gang’s hangout MacLaren’s Pub will be featured on the show to link the two series.
