Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show' Debut Brings in Great Ratings!

Jimmy Fallon‘s Tonight Show debut dominated in the ratings for NBC, Variety reports.

The 39-year-old new host’s show earned a 7.1 overnight household rating/20 share, which breaks down to 80% higher ratings than the combined Monday evening for Jimmy Kimmel on ABC and David Letterman on CBS.

Congrats Jimmy and the whole team on the new Tonight Show!

Jimmy‘s debut was not as big as former host Jay Leno‘s final bow, which has a 9.2 rating compared to Jimmy‘s 7.1

LOVED it! Jimmy’s the best. He’s going to do a fabulous job.

I loved Jimmy’s 1st show. Can’t wait for friday’s show with Justin Timberlake as the only guest. The bromance between these two is unmatched. Should be great.
