FIFA World Cup 2014 Results! Who Won - Argentina or Germany?

It’s official – Germany has won the 2014 FIFA World Cup!

After a nail-biting 90-minute, scoreless game, they went into overtime on Sunday (July 13) at the Estadio do Maracana in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

It was then that substitute Mario Götze scored the winning goal for his team!

This is the third time in World Cup history that Argentina and Germany faced off in the final. Germany now has four titles under their belt, while Argentina stays at two.
