'Mad Men' Creator Expecting 'Mixed Reviews' for Show's Series Finale

Jessica Pare makes her way inside the Are You Here premiere at the ArcLight Theatre on Monday evening (August 18) in Hollywood.

The 33-year-old Mad Men star met up with the show’s creator Matthew Weiner at the after party later that night to show her support – this is Matthew‘s second film as a director!

The final season of Mad Men is set to air next year, and Matthew is expecting mixed reviews for the series finale.

“The road has been paved for a mixed review, no matter what,” he told Rolling Stone. “I do what I’ve always done on the show and rely on the people around me. The actors, the writers, and my wife all liked it, so that’s all I can go on at this point. I hate to say this – obviously ending the entire series is significantly more pressure – but it’s been that way every year.”
