'Big Brother' Renewed by CBS for Two More Seasons!

Here is some awesome news for Big Brother fans – the hit reality competition series has officially been renewed for seasons 17 and 18!

Julie Chen will be returning as host for both of the upcoming seasons and casting is already underway for the 2015 season.

“Big Brother continues to be the one of the summer’s most dominant programs, and with each season, [executive producers] Allison [Grodner] and Rich [Meehan] produce the most twisted ways to evolve the series creatively,” said Chris Castallo, CBS executive vp alternative programming. “With its one-of-a-kind format, coupled with its passionate, socially engaged fan base, no other show comes close to duplicating it.”

The season finale of Big Brother 16 airs TONIGHT at 9:30 ET/PT and a winner will be crowned during the 90-minute episode.
