Amanda Bynes Arrested for DUI, Charged with Misdeameanor

Amanda Bynes was arrested for DUI over the weekend, according to E! News.

The 28-year-old former actress was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol on Sunday morning (September 28) at 3.am. She was charged with a misdemeanor as police “determined she was under the influence of a controlled substance” while driving.

Amanda was held on $15,000 bail and released at 12:44pm that same day from the police station in Van Nuys, Calif. She will appear in court on October 23 in accordance with teh charge.

This is sad news for Amanda, who is still serving a three-year probation sentence from her DUI arrest back in 2012.
