Emilia Clarke's Show 'Game of Thrones' Will End Up Spoiling the Books
Emilia Clarke arrives at LAX Airport in a lovely pink ensemble on Sunday (March 22) in Los Angeles.
Game of Thrones showrunner David Benioff said that the show will definitely spoil future books in the series, which have not yet been released.
“we’ve been talking about this with [author] George [R.R. Martin] for a long time, ever since we saw this could happen, and we know where things are heading,” David told THR. “And so we’ll eventually, basically, meet up at pretty much the same place where George is going; there might be a few deviations along the route, but we’re heading toward the same destination.”
“I kind of wish that there were some things we didn’t have to spoil, but we’re kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place,” he added, saying the show can’t go on hiatus. “The show must go on…and that’s what we’re going to do.”
