Karlie Kloss Launches Computer Coding Scholarship

Karlie Kloss just took her love for computer programming to a whole ‘nother level by launching a Kode With Karlie scholarship to teach young girls how to code!

“I’m so excited to partner with the Flatiron School to launch the Kode With Karlie scholarship and give twenty young women a chance to spend two weeks with other coding students learning and having fun this summer! If one girl leaves the course inspired to keep learning code, I’ll be happy!” the 22-year-old supermodel shared to BuzzFeed.

She added, “It doesn’t matter if you’re a fashion model or high school student, understanding code is so important because it’s the language that runs our world! Young women are shaping the world we live in and code is a tool for us to continue to have a big voice and say in our future.”

Scripting anyone? it’s a large field from artistic to warriors of the net. A language is also beneficial for University in that as it showcases products and/or services.

This is a great idea. She can inspire young girls to study harder and it is admirable. Today kids and teens need these cool looking role models doing something worthy. Motivation is the key when you are young and this scholarship can actually make a difference. Of course some students will always seek expert help on thesis and dissertation. It is actually sad that the majority of young people are not interested in challenges and academic opportunities. They have to understand that life is not always about fun activities.
