Natalie Portman's Directorial Debut is Heading to Cannes!
Natalie Portman looks beautiful in her short dress while attending the UCLA Israel Studies Award presentation on Tuesday night (May 5) at the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 33-year-old actress was on hand to present the award to Amos Oz, the writer of the memoir “A Tale of Love and Darkness.”
Natalie has adapted and directed a feature film based on the book and she even stars in it as well. The film will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival later this month.
The movie tells “the story of Oz’s youth at the end of the British Mandate for Palestine and the early years of the State of Israel. The film details young Amos’ relationship with his mother and his birth as a writer, looking at what happens when the stories we tell, become the stories we live.”
FYI: Natalie is wearing a Dior dress.
