Tom Cruise on 'Top Gun 2' Rumors: It Would Be 'Fun'

Tom Cruise leaves a screening of his latest film Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and signs autographs for fans on Sunday evening (July 26) in New York City.

The day before, the 53-year-old actor’s Mission Impossible co-star Jeremy Renner was seen heading into his hotel.

Tom recently spoke to rumors of him possibly returning for Top Gun 2.

“It’s tricky to figure out,” Tom told Extra. “If I can figure it out, if all of us can figure it out, it’d be fun to do. I’d like to fly those jets again, but we’ve got to do all the jets practical — no CGI on the jets. If we can figure all that out, and the Department of Defense will allow us to do it, that would be fun.”

Who gives a shit whether he does his own stunts or if he falls off side of plane while doing them.

Department of Defense? Is that the new name for Scientology Headquarters? One of the major problems of Cruise ‘coming out’ with a new film is having to suffer through his millions of PR publicity.
Tom’s a 53 y/o old man running around with bangs and the same juvenile toothy grin from 30 years ago. People may not like Clooney, but at least he doesn’t pretend he’s still the adorable ER doc from back in the 80′s.
If I sound overly judgmental of Cruise, it’s because I can’t stand the remarks he made about making films being as dangerous as being in battle. Try telling that to those who’ve lost someone in Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, or any other of the actual war zones. Egotistical little runt.

Don’t like Tom for who he is. He has said too much Scientology BS to take him seriously. That being said, I like his movies. I loved Top Gun, was an awesome movie, and I love how it was US Navy (Navy Brat here.) I would love to se a Top Gun 2, but with his age, he likely wouldn’t be a pilot anymore, likely an Air Boss, or something deckbound.

Boycott all the films made by scientologists. They are a criminal organization.

    Revoke their tax free status.

Write your elected officials and demand they prosecute the leaders of scientology especially David Miscavige.

Why does Hollywood not speak out against these monsters? We want to know why? I see stories on Jared about celebrities supporting Native Americans, and diseases and charities ans Darfur and Haiti. So many Hollywood causes. Are any of them real? Scientology is right in your midst.

Where are the celebrities speaking out against scientology’s evils?
