Tom Cruise on 'Top Gun 2' Rumors: It Would Be 'Fun'

Tom Cruise leaves a screening of his latest film Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and signs autographs for fans on Sunday evening (July 26) in New York City.

The day before, the 53-year-old actor’s Mission Impossible co-star Jeremy Renner was seen heading into his hotel.

Tom recently spoke to rumors of him possibly returning for Top Gun 2.

“It’s tricky to figure out,” Tom told Extra. “If I can figure it out, if all of us can figure it out, it’d be fun to do. I’d like to fly those jets again, but we’ve got to do all the jets practical – no CGI on the jets. If we can figure all that out, and the Department of Defense will allow us to do it, that would be fun.”
