Mariah Carey Hospitalized for Severe Flu Symptoms

Mariah Carey is currently in the hospital fighting some pretty severe flu symptoms, TMZ reports.

The superstar is getting IVs of fluids and vitamins after falling ill on Tuesday evening (December 1) after a scheduled appearance. Her team decided to seek emergency treatment because she was so dehydrated and ill! Luckily, sources say she is going to be okay and may even be released today.

Mariah is scheduled to appear at Hot 97′s “Hot for the Holidays” party this weekend, so her team wanted to make sure she feels 100% by then.
