Celine Dion Will Perform, Receive Icon Award at Billboard Music Awards 2016

Celine Dion is set to accept the Icon Award at this month’s 2016 Billboard Music Awards!

It was also just announced that the legendary singer will perform Queen‘s “The Show Must Go On” during the live show! This will be Celine‘s first televised performance since the tragic death of her husband René Angélil, who passed away earlier in the year.

“Celine Dion has a huge repertoire of monster hits and she personally chose to perform ‘The Show Must Go On’ as her ICON performance on the Billboard Music Awards,” BBMA executive producer Mark Bracco said in a statement. “I think at this moment in her life, the song has many meanings and it’s an amazing choice.”

Ludacris and Ciara will host the show, airing on Sunday (May 22).
