Bill Cosby's Sexual Assault Case to Go to Trial, Judge Rules
The 78-year-old actor’s accuser Andrea Constand did not testify in court in the preliminary trial, but her police report statement was read in court. The alleged sexual assault occurred in 2004, and he’s accused of giving Andrea pills and then abusing her sexually.
He is claiming the encounter was consensual. He has been accused of rape by over fifty women, and this is the first case to go to trial.
