Jessica Alba Brings Teens Affected by Gun Violence On Stage at Teen Choice Awards 2016

Jessica Alba stands next to Ne-Yo on stage at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (July 31) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 35-year-old actress spoke out against gun violence during the show and introduced teens that have been affected by tragedies around the country in recent years.

“Here with me tonight are a group of brave teenagers who share an unlikely bond that’s hard to comprehend,” Jessica said. “They are the brothers, sisters, daughters and family members of recent victims of gun violence: I’m talking about Aurora, Baton Rogue, Dallas, Minneapolis, Orlando, San Bernardino, Newtown. It keeps happening, and it has to stop. Many of those impacted by these acts of violence are teens.”

Ne-Yo then performed the classic song “What’s Going On.” Watch below.
