Singer Michelle Williams Congratulates Actress Michelle Williams on SAG Nomination

Michelle Williams, well known for her work as a member of Destiny’s Child and a successful singer, has congratulated Michelle Williams, the actress from Manchester By the Sea, today on Twitter after a bit of a mix-up!

The 36-year-old singer was mentioned on Twitter this morning, getting congratulated for a 2017 SAG Award nomination, which actually went to the actress Michelle Williams!

“I’m the “other” Michelle Williams but congrats to Michelle Williams! 😘,” Michelle tweeted at a reporter who congratulated her.

“If I personally catch it, once a day!,” Michelle responded to a fan asking how often the Twitter handle mix-up happens. Meanwhile, the actress Michelle Williams does not even have an official Twitter account!

“I love her work too and her haircuts are always super dope!,” she added on Twitter.
