'The Get Down' Cancelled by Netflix After One Season

The Get Down won’t be coming back.

Netflix just cancelled Baz Luhrmann‘s musical after just one season, according to Deadline.

The Get Down was set in New York in 1977 and chronicled the rise of hip-hop and the last days of disco -�” told through the lives, music, art and dance of the South Bronx kids who would change the world forever.

It starred Shameik Moore, Justice Smith, Herizen Guardiola, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and more.
