Duchess Meghan Markle & Queen Elizabeth Avoid a Royal Mishap at Their Car
The Duchess of Sussex and Queen Elizabeth made their first official royal visit together on Thursday (June 14), and they were caught on video avoiding a royal awkward moment!
The royal pair stepped out of a train at Runcorn station in Runcord, England to then head to the Queen’s awaiting Bentley. It looks like Duchess Meghan was momentarily confused if royal protocol suggests she should enter the car first, or allow the Queen to enter first!
Luckily, the Queen and the Duchess got everything squared away.
“What is your preference?” Duchess Meghan could be heard asking the Queen in the video, to which the Queen responded, “You go first.” The Duchess could then be heard saying, “Oh okay.”
