Jon Bernthal Confirms Return to 'Walking Dead' in Season 9!

Jon Bernthal is officially returning to The Walking Dead!

After much fan speculation, the 41-year-old actor’s return to the AMC show has been confirmed by THR.

Jon is set to return to zombie drama for a season nine episode as former police officer Shane Walsh.

He portrayed Shane during the first two seasons of the series before being killed off, so it’s unclear what Jon‘s role will be in the episode.

THR speculates that Jon will be part of a flashback scene or even possibly a vision or hallucinatory sequence.

Fans began wondering if he was returning to the show after he was spotted hanging with Walking Dead‘s cast in their filming location of Senoia, Georgia.

It looks like fans were right!
