Sarah Hyland Shares 'Painful' Selfie After Being Hospitalized

Sarah Hyland is getting real after a trip to the hospital.

The 27-year-old actress, who struggles with a chronic illness, shared a selfie after being hospitalized for treatment.

“Sometimes a selfie is more than just a good angle and feelin cute. This time for #nationalselfieday I’ve decided to share my truth. As painful as it,” Sarah wrote, along with the image in her Instagram story.

She added, “So here is my face that was torn from work against my will. But I’m very grateful it was. Health should always come first “#stayhealthymyfriends.”
