Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Honor Veterans at Opening of Anzac Memorial
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are paying tribute to fallen Australian and New Zealand veterans.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out for the official opening of the ANZAC Memorial at Hyde Park on Saturday (October 20) in Sydney, Australia.
Anzac Day commemorates the first major battle involving Australian and New Zealand forces during WWI.
Harry honored veterans wearing his white military uniform, while Meghan wore a black Emilia Wickstead dress and a Philip Treacy fascinator.
During the afternoon, the royal couple received a tour of the new education and interpretation facilities and visited the Hall of Silence. Harry later unveiled a plaque.
Later in the day, Meghan and Harry are set to travel by boat to Cockatoo Island, where they will attend the first medal event of the 2018 Invictus Games.
