Blu-Ray and Digital HD Releases

Incredibles 2

The much anticipated Incredibles 2 comes out on Blu-Ray today and is also available in Digital HD.

It’s been 14 years since the first animated film, however, Incredibles 2 picks up right where the last one left off. This time around, heroes are still banned from society as Helen (aka Elastigirl) is called to lead a campaign to ‘bring Supers back’. In the meantime, Mr. Incredible takes on the tougher task of home life as he takes care of the kids, Violet, Dash, and the ever cute baby Jack-Jack. However, Helen’s efforts are undermined when a new villain appears sabotaging her heroic efforts.

Some of the most hilarious parts of the film involves baby Jack-Jack as his very powerful superpowers start to manifest for the first time. You can watch the exclusive Sneak Peek of Jack-Jack battling a Raccoon online now.

As usual with Pixar/Disney, the digital transfer to Blu-Ray is fantastic with a great soundtrack to boot. The release also has a ton of great special features including a never before seen mini-movie “Auntie Edna” which documents what happened when the Fashion Queen Edna decides to baby sit the unpredictable Jack-Jack.

Other features include deleted scenes, a break down of the hilarious Jack-Jack Raccoon fight, the cute theatrical short “Bao”, and much more.

Overall, this film is a must-have where the sequel arguably is just as good as the original. Strong family themes, great action, and tons of laughs make this release a great one.
