'Bachelor' Contestant Goes Viral for Pretending to Have Australian Accent While Meeting Colton Underwood

Colton Underwood‘s season of The Bachelor is debuting this coming Monday (January 7) and a clip from the episode just went viral.

In the video, one of the contestants, Bri, meets Colton for the first time and he notices her Australian accent. The catch? She lies about having an accent.

“You’ve got a nice accent,” Colton says in the clip. “Where are you from?”

“The accent, it’s Australian, I was hoping that you’re kind of a sucker for accents,” she responds.”I didn’t know what you’d think about it.”

“I love it,” he replies.

Later, during a confessional, Bri says, “I’m not really Australian. But you have to do what you can to stand out!”
