Harry Potter's Miranda Richardson Joins 'Game of Thrones' Prequel

Miranda Richardson, who is well known for playing journalist Rita Skeeter in a few of the Harry Potter movies, has joined the cast of HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel series, Variety reports.

The cast also includes Naomi Watts, Josh Whitehouse, Naomi Ackle, Denise Gough, and others. Jane Goldman and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin teamed up to create the new series.

The prequel has no set release date at this time. The final season of Game of Thrones is set to kick off on April 14 on HBO.
