Emilia Clarke Launches Charity After Revealing She Nearly Died From Brain Aneurysms

Today, Emilia Clarke bravely spoke out about how she almost died after suffering brain aneurysms that required life-saving surgeries. Now, Emilia has revealed she’s turned her experience into something positive and has launched a charity: SameYou.

“So today I launched a charity! Ha! It’s been a number of years in the making,” Emilia said in a video to fans after revealing how she almost died from brain aneurysms during Game of Thrones.

“Brain injury and stroke can devastate young lives Millions of people worldwide need increased access to neuro-rehabilitation. Let’s fix this now,” SameYou’s site says.

“I kept quiet for something that’s happened to me for quite a few years. I really, sincerely would love to hear what you think…I would love to hear your stories…that’s why I started this,” Emilia added.
