Read Scooter Braun's Statement Ahead of Being Called Out By Taylor Swift Over Big Machine Label Group Purchase

Taylor Swift just published a scathing statement calling out Scooter Braun (as well as stars like Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian) after it was revealed that Scooter had purchased Big Machine Label Group for over $300 million.

Big Machine Label Group has a roster of artists including Sheryl Crow, Lady Antebellum, Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts and Florida Georgia Line, plus the label owns all of the six albums Taylor Swift has released to date.

“This is my worst case scenario. This is what happens when you sign a deal at fifteen to someone for whom the term ‘loyalty’ is clearly just a contractual concept. And when that man says ‘Music has value’, he means its value is beholden to men who had no part in creating it,” Taylor wrote in her statement.

Ahead of being called out my Taylor, Scooter released his own statement about his new acquisition. FYI – label founder Scott Borchetta will be staying on as president, and will join Scooter‘s Ithaca Holdings LLC company as a board member.
