Hailee Steinfeld Says Her New Series 'Dickinson' Is 'Wild' & 'Funny'

Hailee Steinfeld wears a cute Dumbo tee while arriving at LAX airport on Tuesday night (August 28) in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old just arrived back on the West Coast following the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.

During an interview with ET on the red carpet, Hailee opened up about her new AppleTV series, Dickinson.

“This is a story from the perspective of one of the greatest female American poets ever,” she shared. “And It’s wild and it’s funny and it’s weird and it’s a little bit of everything, so I’m very excited about it.”

Hailee added, “My fans have been like, ‘Where have you been?’ And, ‘What have you been doing?’ And, ‘Are you alive?’” she added. “So it’s so good to finally have a little sneak peek of the show finally out. It’s something that really means a lot to me on so many different levels.”
