Beyonce rocks a flashy leotard while hitting the stage at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 32-year-old entertainer wowed the crowd while performing a medley of tracks from her latest self titled album Beyonce, such as “Mine,” “Haunted,” “No Angel,” and “Drunk In Love.” Watch the performance below!

After the performance, Beyonce was presented with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and was joined on the stage by her husband Jay Z and their adorable daughter Blue Ivy.

“I just thank God for this moment. I love y’all so much,” Beyonce said. “Good night.”

Beyonce hits the stage with her husband Jay Z and their adorable two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 32-year-old entertainer went to accept the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award after performing a fifteen minute medley of her songs from the Beyonce album.

“Good job mommy,” Blue said so cutely as Jay presented his wife with the special honor. This had to be one of our favorite moments of the show!

Adam Levine and Maroon 5 play their hit song “Maps” to a packed crowd off site at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

It was an awesome night of great performances from some of music’s biggest stars at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The award for Video of the Year went to Miley Cyrus for her song “Wrecking Ball” and she used the moment to let a homeless man speak about his situation and raise awareness for a good cause.

Other winners at the show included Ariana Grande for Best Pop Video, Katy Perry for Best Female Video, and Ed Sheeran for Best Male Video.

Beyonce was awarded the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for all of her career accomplishments. We can’t think of a better person to receive the honor!

Fifth Harmony walk the red carpet ahead of winning at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The ladies — Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello, and Dinah Hansen — picked up the Artists To Watch Moonman at the show!

“OMG! This is SO incredible! Cannot believe we just won 2014 #ArtistToWatch!! Thank you so much Harmonizers!” the band tweeted in shock.

They added, “We are still so overwhelmed! Harmonizers you guys are seriously the BEST!!”

FYI: Camilla wore a Jad Ghandour dress and Givenchy shoes. Dinah wore a BCBG Generation top, Miisha Collection skirt and Versace shoes. Normani wore a Stella + Jamie dress and Manolo Blahnik shoes. Lauren wore a Miisha Collection dress with Jimmy Choo shoes. Ally wore a Nines jacket, Amen leggings and ShoeMint shoes.

Lorde sports her usual all-black look at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 17-year-old singer won the award for the Best Rock Music Video for her hit song “Royals.”

“just remembered the vmas are tomorrow and i haven’t picked an outfit or thought about hair and makeup a ha ha spontaneity,” Lorde tweeted the day before revealing that her killer look tonight was a last minute one.

She continued to say, tweeting: “i have an excuse – i’ve been in the studio adding new bits and pieces to the live show. so much.”
