Forest Whitaker suits up while attending the 2014 Producers Guild of America Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 19) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 52-year-old actor posed on the red carpet by producer Nina Yang Bongiovi, who worked with him on Fruitvale Station, which will be honored tonight with the Stanley Kramer Award.

“We are very excited that Fruitvale Station is being honored with the Stanley Kramer Award. It is a testament to the director, the production team and the incredible efforts of the many talented people in our crew and cast who worked so hard because they believed in the message of this movie. Many thanks to the Producers Guild of America for this recognition,” Forest recently shared in a statement.

Barkhad Abdi was also spotted arriving at the ceremony, where his film Captain Phillips is nominated for The Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures.

Helen‘s hit film Monsters University is nominated for The Award for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures, going up against The Croods, Despicable Me 2, Epic, and Frozen.

June‘s film Nebraska is nominated for The Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, competing with American Hustle, Blue Jasmine, Captain Phillips, Dallas Buyers Club, Gravity, Her, Saving Mr. Banks, 12 Years a Slave, and Wolf of Wall Street.
