It was a starry night at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) and we have so many great photos from inside the event to share!

While we saw a lot of amazing actors on stage accepting awards, like Nicole Kidman, Sterling K. Brown, Allison Janney, Gary Oldman, and more, you probably didn’t catch who was mingling with who throughout the night.

Reese Witherspoon was joined at the event by her husband Jim Toth, though he didn’t walk the red carpet with her earlier in the night.

Margot Robbie was seen catching up with Saoirse Ronan, her fellow nominee in the Best Actress categories. Kate Bosworth and Norman Reedus met up backstage after presenting. Lady Bird stars Saoirse and Timothee Chalamet caught up at their seats.

Octavia Spencer flashes a huge smile as she arrives at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards held at The Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 47-year-old Oscar-winning actress went pretty in a plum-colored dress for the awards show.

Inside the awards show, Octavia‘s The Shape of Water director Guillermo del Toro won the award for Best Director.

Later in the night, Sally Hawkins and Richard Jenkins joined Guillermo and Octavia on stage when The Shape of Water took home the award for Best Picture!

Sutton Foster and Constance Wu look glamorous at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards held at The Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The two actresses were both nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series: Sutton for Younger and Constance for Fresh Off The Boat.

Best Supporting Actress nominee Rita Moreno, One Day At A Time co-star Justina Machado and Life In Pieces star Betsy Brandt also hit the carpet at the ceremony.

The critics had all the say at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards held at The Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The night honored the best in movies and television and was hosted by Olivia Munn.

Gal Gadot was presented with the special #SeeHer Award during the evening for changing the way women are seen on the big screen.

In the movie categories, it was a big night for both The Shape of Water and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, which went home with four and three awards respectively.

Big Little Lies was the big winner in the television categories with four wins, including Best Limited Series and several acting prizes.

Ewan McGregor accepts his award on stage at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards held at The Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 46-year-old actor won the award for Best Actor in a Movie or Limited Series for his work on Fargo.

Ewan was joined at the event by his co-stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, David Thewlis, and Carrie Coon.

Ewan and Mary are now in a relationship and they shared a cute kiss after his win!

The 42-year-old actress won the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards held at The Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Big Bang Theory is also nominated for Best Comedy Series.

The 50-year-old actor looked handsome in a dark navy suit as he stepped out for the awards show where he is nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his role in Ray Donovan.
