Amy Poehler takes her two adorable sons Archie and Abel to a children’s birthday party on Saturday (January 19) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 41-year-old actress stepped out less than one week after hosting the 2013 Golden Globes alongside Tina Fey – the two received rave reviews for their funny hosting bits.

Amy recently sat down with Zap2it to chat about her show Parks & Recreation.

“It is like a dream job to work on that show,” Amy said. “I think the cast and the show is the best on TV so it and the writing is so great I get to play real big and small moments.”

“I don’t want to spoil anything,” Amy said about her character’s potential marriage to Adam Scott‘s character. “Whatever it is or whenever it is, I am sure it will be the right combination of sweet and very hectic.”

Amy Poehler brings her two adorable little guys, Archie and Abel, to check out the Swanson’s Parks & Recreation softball team play a game at the Hjelte Sports Center on Saturday (October 27) in Encino, Calif.

Joining the family was Parks and Recreation co-star Aubrey Plaza, who plays on the team!

Amy recently chatted about her and Tina Fey hosting the Golden Globes this January.

“We’re both really excited, but we’re both shooting now on our TV shows and we’re kind of used to SNL style, working a little closer to the date [of the broadcast],” Amy said to Zap2it.

“It’s kind of a little too far out to start really planning, because news and change and things happen closer to the thing,” she added. “We’ve seen each other and talked about how we’re excited, but now, we haven’t planned anything yet.”

Amy Poehler brings her cutie pie sons to a costume party on Saturday (October 20) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 41-year-old actress carried her older son Archie, who was dressed as Batman, while Abel was dressed as a fireman!

Amy‘s website, Smart Girls at the Party, gives advice to young girls with questions in her segments titled “Ask Amy”.

“The Internet can be a really tough place for a young girl to see images and hear messages that aren’t helpful to her,” Amy told ABC News. “When we started Smart Girls at the Party – the site and now the channel on YouTube…we just wanted to do something fun. We wanted to do almost something that was an answer or an antidote to a lot of the programming that we see on the Internet for young girls.”

She also offered advice that she would give herself at age 13: “That thing that you know about yourself, the real core of who you are is there. You just have to kind of keep listening to it and your life will unfold the way it’s supposed to, if you listen to yourself first.”
