Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s funeral took place on Saturday (August 1) and she was laid to rest with the help of her late mother Whitney Houston‘s music.

The final song that was played during the ceremony was Whitney‘s version of “Jesus Loves Me.”

Several members of both the Houston and Brown families spoke, in addition to friend Tyler Perry, but her father Bobby Brown was not listed as a speaker, according to TMZ.

Bobby left a message in the funeral’s program that said, “I also will always love you.”

Nick Gordon‘s mother Michele Gordon has released a statement on behalf of him and their family after the passing of Bobbi Kristina Brown, his longtime partner.

“The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family. Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they’ve been apart,” she told NBC News in a statement. “Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time.”

Nick‘s actions before Bobbi Kristina‘s hospitalization have come under question in recent weeks – he was slapped with a lawsuit last month for assaulting Bobbi Kristina and stealing her money. Nick checked into rehab earlier in the year after Bobbi had been hospitalized for seveal weeks.

Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s initial autopsy has been completed and the Fulton County Medical Examiner just released a statement.

“The initial portion of the autopsy has been completed. The autopsy does not show an obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted. No previously unknown medical conditions that could have contributed to death were identified,” the statement read (via Reuters) about the death of the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. “Additional laboratory testing will be performed. Subpoenas have been issued to obtain needed documentary information. We do not plan to complete the death certificate or determine a cause and manner of death until all test results are completed and all investigative, medical, and other documentary records are received and thoroughly reviewed. We anticipate that these processes will take several weeks.”

Bobby Brown has broken his silence over the tragic death of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown on Sunday (July 26) at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia.

The 46-year-old R&B singer calls the loss of his 22-year-old child “unimaginable.”

“Krissy was and is an angel,” Bobby told Us Weekly. “I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable.”

Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub in late January and went into medically induced coma. She was recently placed on hospice care.

Whitney Houston‘s official Facebook page was updated with a very touching tribute to Bobbi Kristina Brown after her death on Sunday (July 26).

The post, which was also posted on Whitney‘s official website, read the following:

“Bobbi Kristina Brown (March 4, 1993 – July 26, 2015). It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. As Bobbi Kristina would say: ‘The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face.’”

The late Whitney Houston‘s cousin, R&B icon Dionne Warwick, has paid tribute to Bobbi Kristina Brown after her tragic death on Sunday (July 26).

“She was a sweetheart,” the 74-year-old Grammy winning singer said during her scheduled appearance on Watch What Happens Live! this evening. “She will be missed, that’s for sure. She was a good girl. She was a good little girl. She really was.”

Host Andy Cohen also asked how the family has coped with all the tragedy over the past several years.

“It’s not easy, that’s for sure,” Dionne added. “I think it’s because of our faith and strength in faith, knowing that Bobbi is now with a much, much bigger and more powerful person, or thing…than we’ll ever know. She’s in much better hands now.”
