President Obama took time out of his busy schedule to meet with 25 of Hollywood’s young talent on Thursday (June 7) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The lucky attendees included Dianna Agron, Jeremy Renner, Ian Somerhalder, Brandon Routh, Ben McKenzie, Zachary Quinto, Anna Kendrick, Alexis Bledel, Sophia Bush, Jessica Alba, Josh Radnor, Adam Rodriguez, Tatyana Ali, Bryan Greenberg, Kal Penn, Zach Braff, Rachael Leigh Cook and Jared Leto.

“Maybe the only man I truly get nervous around. Worth the early wakeup call. @BarackObama,” Dianna tweeted.

“Got up bright & early to hear @BarackObama speak w an awesome group #YoungAmerChat,” Jessica wrote on her Twitter account.

“Totally surreal morning.Met up with some friends, had coffee with President Obama now tweeting.The 21st century… Let’s do this,” Ian tweeted.

Brandon Routh heads into a TV studio to promote his new show Partners on Tuesday (May 29) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The 32-year-old actor plays Wyatt in the CBS comedy, which co-stars Sophia Bush, Michael Urie, and David Krumholtz – check out the trailer in case you missed it!

“It’s a pretty easy work schedule,” Brandon, who’s expecting his first child with wife Courtney Ford, recently told the Toronto Sun.

“So I’ll have the time to come home and be a dad,” he added. “In the next few weeks, it’s all going to collide – work time and baby time.”

Brandon Routh heads to the Extra set at The Grove on Tuesday (April 17) in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old actor promoted his new film, Crooked Arrows, which centers around a Native American lacrosse team that makes its way through a prep school league tournament.

Last month, Brandon revealed that he and wife Courtney Ford are expecting their first child.

“Thanks to everyone who sent congratulations and good words about our baby news!” he wrote on his Twitter page after the announcement.

Brandon Routh and his wife, Courtney Ford, are expecting a baby!

“It’s been so hard keeping the news to ourselves,” the 32-year-old actor told People.

“It started getting difficult to hide what was happening,” Courtney, 33, added. “Flu and food poisoning excuses only work for so long, and by the last episode I could no longer button my pants! I just tried to joke that I had a big lunch!”

Brandon is currently working on Partners, a comedy pilot for CBS. He stars opposite Ugly Betty alum Michael Urie and Sophia Bush.

Brandon and Courtney will welcome their little one this coming summer.

Brandon Routh is set to play the boyfriend of Michael Urie‘s character in CBS’ comedy pilot Partners.

The 32-year-old Chuck and Superman Returns star will take on the role of a “former alcoholic, club-hopping model, now a sober, vegan nurse,” according to Deadline.

The show centers on longtime friends, business partners, and architects Charlie, who is straight, and Louis (Urie), who is gay.

Sophia Bush will play Ali, Charlie’s fiance, who’s a jewelry boutique owner.

English actress Lucy Davis and Sherri actress Elizabeth Regen have also been cast in the show.

Brandon Routh, Anna Kendrick and Jason Schwartzman promote their new comedy, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, around Yorkville on Thursday (August 5) in Toronto, Canada.

When asked if he’d love to play Superman again, Brandon shared, “I certainly would. As much as I say I’m working to shake that off or shake it up, I certainly don’t want to extinguish or get rid of it because it was a great honor and I would love to be able to return as that character.”

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World starring Michael Cera opens in theaters next Friday (August 13)!
