“So working with Chad was awesome because I found a husband and that was the best thing that came out of the experience,” Avril recently joked to MTV News. ‘

She added, “No, we had a great time. We really just celebrated music together and we both love writing and creating; it’s non-stop. That same day, the married couple released their brand new song “Let Me Go,” which will be featured on Avril‘s upcoming self-titled album, out in stores on November 5.

“Can’t wait for you to hear my new song, Let Me Go feat Chad Kroeger. You can buy it on iTunes on oct 15, but it premieres on KBIG in 25min!!” Avril tweeted that morning. “‘Let Me Go’ will be on my new, self-titled album on Nov 5th, but you can buy it on @iTunesMusic starting Oct 15th!!”

Avril Lavigne debuts her all black wedding dress in this first pic from her wedding to Chad Kroeger in Hello! Canada.

The 28-year-old singer rocked a black tulle Monique Lhuillier gown and donned a bouquet of black roses for her big day. The duo got married this past Monday in France.

“I’ve been planning this wedding for a really long time,” Avril told the mag about her special day. “I showed him everything and he let me take the reins and bounce ideas off of him.”

Avril Lavigne has tied the knot with her love Chad Kroeger on Monday (July 1), Us Weekly reports!

The 28-year-old entertainer and 38-year-old Nickelback rocker said “I do” in front of fifty guests at Chateau La Napoule in Mandelieu, France, with a party that followed and lasted until 6am!

“It was a wild, all-night party with drinking, dancing, incredible food and lots of laughter and tears of happiness,” a source told the mag. “It was a truly amazing wedding, absolutely magical.”

“Avril and Chad had glasses of wine in their hands and were kissing as fireworks popped overhead and sparkled down,” a party-goer said of the fireworks display after the nuptials. “It was a magical moment and everyone was overwhelmed!”

Congrats to Avril and Chad!!!

UPDATE: The couple has reportedly not tied the knot… yet. While the wedding might be happening this weekend, sources tell People it hasn’t happened yet.

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger have just tied the knot on Saturday (June 29) in the South of France, according to E!.

The 28-year-old Canadian singer and the 38-year-old rocker went through the special nuptials after becoming engaged last August.

“We want it to be unique and special and we want it to be a very big event but at the same time it’s small and it’s just close friends and close family,” Avril recently shared about the wedding at the Billboard Music Awards.

She added, “Of course [Chad] has been really involved. He’s also been really cool with just letting me kinda taking the wedding in the direction I want to take it in.”

Avril Lavigne and her fiance Chad Kroeger hit the red carpet at the 2013 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Thursday (June 13) in New York City.

The 28-year-old singer recently opened up to Us Weekly about her wedding plans.

“I’m the one who has the crazy vision and he’s letting me be me,” Avril said. “I just want to make sure I really enjoy this amazing time and I want all the guests who come to have this once in a lifetime experience. I want everyone to say ‘Wow!’ and for it to be special for everyone, not just us.”
