Common Installs Softwear

Common wears his own design while out shopping earlier in the week at the Dolce & Gabbana store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 36-year-old actor/rapper wore his “I Used To Love Her” t-shirt from his upcoming t-shirt line, Softwear by Microsoft (out in Spring 2009).

Other pictures include Common departing LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday (February 6) with his girlfriend, tennis champ Serena Williams (she most recently won the Australian Open).

Common Interview -- JustJared.com Exclusive

Common took some time out of his busy schedule to chat with JustJared.com about his narration work with Gatorade, what it was like shooting Wanted with Angelina Jolie and why he’s a pescatarian. Here’s what the 36-year-old actor/rapper had to say:

JJ: Are you Internet savvy? Which blogs do you read?

C: I definitely check my Think Common blog, Kanye West’s blog, and Hypebeast.

JJ: What are you working on in NY?

C: I’m here doing promotion for my new album, Universal Mind Control, which came out in December. We’ll be doing a lot of live performances and shooting some spots. I’m doing some stuff at All-Star weekend, and also I’ll be doing something with Ludacris in LA in February.

Jack Black: High-Five Inauguration!

Jack Black is just one of the many celebrities featured in the latest installment from the Funny or Die “High Five” series based around the inauguration in Washington D.C.

The video contains a bunch of prominent politicians (Howard Dean, Newt Gingrich), pundits (Larry King, Arianna Huffington) and celebrities (Nelly, Sarah Silverman) high fiving. Other celebs include: Common, Raven-Symoné , Adam Levine, Corbin Bleu and John Legend.

John Mayer Honored by Cosmopolitan

Former Mr. Jessica Simpson John Mayer is surrounded by a bevy of beautiful men while Cosmopolitan honored him as fun fearless male of the year at NYC’s Cipriani on Monday.

Mayer, 30, is seated between actor pal Dave Annable and rapper/actor Common. Behind them are Canadian animal trainer and zoologist Dave Salmoni, Dirty Sexy Money actor Peter Krause, MySpace founder Tom Anderson, The Office star John Krasinski, funny man Dane Cook and the current reigning Mr. Jessica Simpson, QB Tony Romo.

“I was thinking, you have John Mayer, Dane Cook,” Romo said as he accepted his award for being fun and fearless. “If you date Jessica Simpson, I guess you’re fun and fearless.”
