Two Female Superstars to Launch 'Major Global Pay-Per-View Shows' Amid Pandemic (Report)

Something exciting in seemingly the works for the music industry!

Two superstar female entertainers are in the middle of planning massive pay-per-view events, according to Hits Daily Double on Tuesday (October 6).

“Which two super-hot female artists are about to launch major global pay-per-view shows that could help reshape a pandemic-shuttered market starved for live entertainment? Could 100k customers at $10 apiece—out of their millions of followers—be enough to break even? What sort of production and featured guests might be involved? How will the artists’ teams handle the COVID protcols?” the outlet teased, going on to hint at some possible names in their blind item.

“Could the star attractions be (a) Lady Gaga (b) Cardi B/Megan Thee Stallion (c) Dua Lipa (d) Taylor Swift or (e) Billie Eilish? Stay tuned.”

Hollywood Bowl Cancels Summer 2020 Season Amid Pandemic

The Hollywood Bowl is canceling all summer events.

The iconic Los Angeles venue officially scrapped its summer season, for the first time ever, the Los Angeles Philharmonic confirmed in an announcement, via Variety, on Wednesday (May 12).

“The countdown to the L.A. Phil making an announcement has been inevitable, with the org appearing to want to cancel the entire season in whole, rather than piecemeal, once California’s governor, Gavin Newsom, made it clear he didn’t see concerts resuming in the state before next year,” the report reads.

Acts including Brandi Carlile, Halsey, Alanis Morissette, Hall & Oates, Bob Dylan, Steely Dan and the Beach Boys were set to perform throughout the summer at the venue.
