Dax Shepard Tells Jimmy Kimmel Wife Kristen Bell Is 'Batsh-t Crazy' for Wearing Gloves in the Pool!

Dax Shepard stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night (July 11) and explained why his wife Kristen Bell likes to wear gloves while swimming in a pool.

“I’ve been with her for 11 years and I’ve always been told that she just doesn’t like going in the pool— so she’ll take the kids and just sit in a lawn chair or whatever,” the 43-year-old actor told Jimmy. “The heat wave was so dramatic, she had to get in the pool.”

Dax then said she proclaimed, “I have to go get my pool gloves! And I was like, ‘Get your pool gloves? Gonna do some underwater welding?’”

Dax said Kristen left and reappeared with gloves he believes are actually intended for pool wear: “Weirder to me than her even having this proclivity is that someone’s manufacturing pool gloves,” Dax joked. “Does anybody here wear pool gloves? No? See, she’s batshit crazy! Apparently there’s a boutique pool glove place somewhere that she’s spending our money at.”

Dax Shepard Joins 'The Ranch' After Danny Masterson's Exit

Dax Sherpard will be a recurring guest star on The Ranch‘s upcoming third season on Netflix.

Dax will appear in the second half of the season, according to Deadline.

He will play the role of Luke Matthews, a former soldier who has come to Garrison with some history concerning the Iron River Ranch. He meets the Bennetts and forms an immediate bond with Colt (Ashton Kutcher) and his father Beau (Sam Elliott), but Luke’s past has a way of catching up with him.

Dax will not be a replacement for former co-lead Danny Masterson, but will appear in roughly half of the 10 episodes and will “likely help fill the void left by the exit of [Danny], who played Colt’s older brother Rooster.”

The remaining ten episodes are being filmed this year after a hiatus.
