Ellie Goulding and her husband Caspar Jopling are expecting their first child together!

The 34-year-old singer spoke to Vogue about finding out she was pregnant.

“We did the one show [in August 2020]. I was pregnant and had no idea,” she told the mag. “That was [around] the time when Caspar and I went away briefly when we were allowed to for our one-year anniversary, and that’s basically when we found out. It was crazy because it was our one-year anniversary. That was not the plan. The thought of getting pregnant didn’t seem like it could be a reality. Becoming pregnant kind of made me feel human. I want a better word than womanly, [but]—I have curves I’ve never had before. I’m enjoying it. My husband’s enjoying it.”

“I actually went from being smug about how healthy my salads were and my breakfasts and eating nuts and seeds, and then all I wanted was McDonalds,” she continued. “And I was kind of terrified, I suddenly wanted all of the bad things! Whatever this baby did when it took over my body was like, Hell no—I do not want broccoli, spinach, collards! I just wanted sugar and carbs.”

“I’m excited to be a mother—but also I want to make sure that I continue to work,” she added. “I can’t wait to go back on tour. I’ve been in the studio most days, [and] I’m excited for the challenge. It will be a totally new experience.”

Ellie Goulding is looking amazing during her performance at the V&A museum on Wednesday night (August 26) in London, England.

The performance was live streamed for ticket holders amid the Coronavirus pandemic to promote keeping everyone home and safe, while still being able to enjoy live music!

Ellie‘s husband Caspar Jopling was seen walking out of the venue after her performance just before she left as well.

“I can’t believe I just did my first show of 2020. what a f*ckin rush. the #BrightestBlue Experience streams again at 7:30pm PDT (America) and one last time at 7:30pm AEST (Australia). Where will you be watching from?,” Ellie posted after the show.

Ellie Goulding is back with a stunning new video.

The 33-year-old Brightest Blue singer released the new music video for “Love I’m Given” on Wednesday (August 19).

The video is a collaboration with director Rianne White, who worked with Ellie on “Flux” last year alongside director of production Rina Yang. The video “echoes the artwork of the double-sided album, playing with the contrasting gold and blue artwork on Brightest Blue” and sees the music star boxing at her local boxing gym during lockdown, as well as her posing in gowns by Schiaporelli and Ashi Studio.

“’Love I’m Given’ is about accepting and being at peace with all the mistakes in your life and realizing you get the same love back you give out. The video represents the fight between calm and chaos. The boxing ring is weirdly the place I feel the most pure and in control, and the moments in the gold dress represent getting to a place of ultimate power when you know you are in the most powerful place you can be when you have that kind of revaluation about love and forgiveness,” she says.

Earlier this summer, Ellie dropped her fourth studio album, titled Brightest Blue. If you haven’t yet, make sure to give it a listen.

In a couple weeks, Ellie will be doing a one-off live performance at the V&A Museum in London. The show, which will be performed with a full live band and special guests, will stream live online. It’s a pay-per-view event that you need to purchase tickets for!

Ellie recently opened up about the family member she hasn’t seen since her wedding in August 2019.

Ellie Goulding appears to be on vacation in an exotic location and she accidentally got a bit of a sunburn on a bike ride.

“Yes burnt my boobs and yes it’s absolutely my own fault if I fall off this thing but otherwise having A GR8 TIME,” the 33-year-old singer – who is ironically known for her 2013 hit “Burn” – posted on her Instagram account.

Ellie posted both a video of her on the bike ride as well as a selfie of her in her bikini.

Ellie Goulding is opening up about her strained relationship with her mother, who she hasn’t seen in almost a year.

The 33-year-old singer, who just released her new album Brightest Blue, said in a new interview that the last time she saw her mom was at her August 2019 wedding to Caspar Jopling.

“It’s frustrating because I really want to talk to you about it. But she became quite threatening when I did talk about her in the press. Discussing her was a disaster,” Ellie said in a new interview with The Independent. “I haven’t seen my mother since my wedding last year.”

She added, “I’ve done a lot of therapy about it because what I thought was fixable isn’t fixable.”

During a new interview, Ellie said none of the songs on the new album are inspired by her marriage to Caspar Jopling, whom she married back in August 2019.

“There’s definitely part of me that doesn’t feel like singing about it right now,” Ellie shared with USA Today. “It’s something I still want to keep sacred for two more years at least. When I write, I like to have a license to indulge in things or embellish a little bit, but with that subject, I just don’t feel the need to dress it up or make it into a story.”
