The 36-year-old reality mom also stopped by Staples to pick up some office supplies before heading to her local FedEx store.

Kate will be making an appearance today (June 20) at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray, Tenn., to help raise money for families in need.

The event will also include a screening of a Kate Plus 8 that featured the area’s Second Harvest Food Bank.

“Day over! I did my own 2 days of art projects 4 the Tenn event on Mon! Can’t wait 2 reveal my surprises! I’ve nevr [sic] put so much X into an event!” Kate wrote on her Twitter page over the weekend.

Kate Gosselin flashes a smile as she arrives at NBC Studios on Monday morning (June 6) in New York City to make an appearance on The Today Show.

The 36-year-old reality mama recently told People that the tensions after her divorce have calmed.

“It’s just naturally gotten more peaceful, which is good,” Kate said. “[Ex-husband Jon]‘s working now, which is great. He has somewhere else to put his attention, which is good.”

“The kids enjoy spending time with him,” Kate continued. “They wish he would see them more, but as long as they come home happy – and more or less they do – I’m okay with that, so that’s good.”

The 36-year-old reality television mother was on her way home in order to spend time with her eight children on Mother’s Day.

Kate spent the weekend at the Kentucky Derby, where she glammed up the red carpet in a large rimmed hat complete with feathers!

While at the derby, Kate admitted that she wouldn’t not do Dancing with the Stars ever again.

“Not because it was a bad experience though. It was an awesome experience — but I clearly cannot dance,” she told Us.

The 36-year-old reality television mother of eight looked ready for the race in a black striped dress and large rimmed hat.

Last month, it was announced that Kate was being sued by her former marriage counselor for payments past due. Kate flew out a specialist from the west coast to provide therapy and possibly reconcile her marriage to ex-husband Jon Gosselin.

The 36-year-old reality TV mom is being sued by a former marriage counselor who claims that she still owes more than $10,000 in for services back in 2009.

Kate hired a Creative Energy Options counselor to “fly to Los Angeles, CA to perform marriage counseling, then refused to pay for services or travel fees.”, according to TMZ.

The 36-year-old reality mom stopped by the NBC morning show to promote the new episode of Kate Plus 8.

Kate also talked about dating, telling anchor Matt Lauer that she doesn’t “have a lot of time for myself.”

“I do have eight kids. I feel like I have my life together, pretty much. But let’s be honest. It’s going to take a strong person to wrangle this mess,” she said, adding, “If he can pass the test, he’s got to be Superman.”

As for her ex Jon Gosselin, Kate says they’re communicating but she wishes “he would see [the kids] more often to be honest.”
