The Real Housewives of Atlanta is reportedly getting a new official cast member.
Yovanna Momplaisir, who was involved in the “SnakeGate” scandal with Nene Leakes, is joining the cast of Season 13 of the long-running Bravo reality TV series, TMZ reported on Monday (May 25).

“Sources close to the production tell TMZ, producers invited Yovanna to sign on for season 13 as an official cast member. We’re told the contracts went out to all the ladies after they filmed the reunion,” the outlet reports.
“Our sources say her main storyline for the upcoming season will piggyback off the scandal that erupted during Season 12. As diehard RHOA fans know … the so-called SnakeGate drama roped in the entire cast after the ladies found out Yovanna came on the show as a friend/spy for NeNe, who wanted Yovanna to gather intel to see which of the ladies were trash-talking NeNe behind her back.”
The women of the cast were led to believe that NeNe asked Yovanna to record their conversations, but as it turned out, she never did – but she did admit NeNe asked her to record the conversations, resulting in being branded “a snitch” by the cast.
She has yet to address how the scandal played out with NeNe. NeNe also left the virtual reunion amid an unrelated argument, and then never returned. Find out more about that reunion…
