Halsey is breaking her silence on her split with Yungblud, just days after confirming her romance with American Horror Story‘s Evan Peters.

In a now deleted tweet, Halsey responded to speculation that there may have been cheating involved, writing, “Sometimes. People just break up. It doesn’t mean someone cheated or something bad happened or someone f-ed up. Sometimes. It just happens. Because life Is constantly changing. And adults stay friends and move on.”

Halsey and Evan Peters were first linked in late September, and it’s unclear when Yungblud and Halsey officially ended things.

Yungblud and Dan Reynolds are teaming up!

The 22-year-old English singer-songwriter and the 32-year-old Imagine Dragons frontman released their collaboration called “original me” on Wednesday (October 9).

The song was co-written by Yungblud and Dan.

“This song is about accepting the parts of yourself that you hate and realizing your biggest superpower is to be originally, authentically yourself. Working with Dan Reynolds was such a dream come true as he is a huge inspiration for me. The song literally came out of the studio within a day. The mutual raw energy between us made this song what it is,” Yungblud explained.

Halsey and Evan Peters are seemingly a new couple after they were spotted holding hands on a date at Six Flags!

The 24-year-old singer and the 32-year-old American Horror Story actor went to the Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in California last weekend and sources told DailyMailTV that they were “flirting” with each other.

Halsey was most recently linked to Yungblud and he seemingly reacted to the photos of the new couple during a concert on Friday night (September 27) in Florida.

Yungblud shouted out “somebody take me to Disneyland” on his Instagram Story during his Orlando concert. Fans think this is his response to those photos.

Over the years, Halsey has tweeted about her love for Evan, including a tweet in November 2013 that said, “Petition for Evan Peters to date me.”

Here’s what the 22-year-old musician had to share to share with the mag:

On ridding of labels and being yourself: “Boxes are for cereal. I think it’s an amazing thing for us to go, ‘Well, I don’t want to label myself as anything right now’, I just want to be who I want to be and do what I want to do. [People] say, ‘Dom, why do you wear make-up?’ Because I want to. Not for any other reason, not to appeal to any other market, [but] because it’s fine to do what you want. I think division is becoming less and less popular and exciting and cool. The Kardashian age is over: it’s cooler now to be yourself, [to] be your bald, skinhead, no-make-up, spotty sinner self than looking like Barbie.”

On home versus Hollywood: “People ask if I love America and, yes, I love America, but I miss home so much. I’ve been having a hard time being thrown into the world of pop culture and Hollywood. That’s not me. I like it, but I just am not doing it to get papped 15 times outside of a restaurant.”

On being there for his fans, and them being there for him: “Everyone’s like, ‘Is it really hard having this responsibility?’ And…no, because I’m just being me. If I was just putting a face on, it would be exhausting to maintain it, but it’s just me…I get anxious and I get depressed because that’s the way I’m wired. But I meet someone in my fanbase and they tell me a story and they inspire me and they turn me round. If you see someone walking round in pink socks at two in the morning…have a chat, don’t be afraid.”

On his gender-bending style: “That’s why I f–king wear a dress on stage. We’ve been brought up with such boundaries: woman wears dress, man sees woman’s curves, you can make baby. Western civilization put women in dresses and men in trousers. Before that, in medieval times, every f–ker wore a dress. I wake up one day and want to look girly as f–k, and I’ll wake up the next and walk out of the house in a Fred Perry polo shirt looking like I’ll beat the s–t of out you. I’ll be Anita from West Side Story then suddenly transform into Liam Gallagher.”

On his sexual fluidity: “I am more straight. [But If] I walked down the street and met a f–king bloke tomorrow, or a trans person, you never know. It’s about connection. I’m very fluid about it.”

On his battle with mental health issues: “I came to London to be liberated, to be able to paint my nails, to f–king try sex with a guy, to try everything, to fulfill my fantasies and figure out who I am. Ultimately, it was a massive journey to being comfortable in myself. But in that journey, I got more confused… [I’d get] blazed and f–ked up. Then I’d sit in my room and cry my f–king eyes out… I [still] have to get talked off the ledge 10 times a day, but I know who I am now. There is always the dark part in everyone’s brain. You wake up in the morning, you’ve got a knot in your stomach and you don’t know why. But you just have to tell yourself that it’s fine, breathe, go for a walk, make love to your girlfriend or boyfriend, anything that will make it better.”

The 24-year-old “Without Me” singer was spotted smiling and having a great time in a bikini with the 20-year-old musician on Wednesday (May 29) in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Later during the trip, Halsey revealed that she broke her toe while trying to save a butterfly, but her efforts were in vain.

“I broke my toe. turns out the butterfly was already dead. I have alien feet I know. I sacrificed having nice feet when I committed to a life of dancing on stages and saving dead butterflies. this hurts,” she wrote.
