Amy Poehler: Hosting 'SNL' Season Premiere!

Amy Poehler is set to host the first episode of Saturday Night Live‘s 36th season when the program returns on Saturday, September 25!

The 38-year-old funnywoman was a member of the sketch comedy program from 2001 until 2008, when she headed to Pawnee for Parks and Recreation.

Also confirmed for the upcoming season of SNL is Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston, who will host the show on October 2.

FYI: It was just announced that Katy Perry will be the musical guest for Amy‘s episode of SNL!
