Kelly Clarkson: Relationship Is 'Ruining My Creativity'

Kelly Clarkson heads into Sur with a gal pal on Tuesday (May 22) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Earlier in the evening, the 30-year-old singer performed on the Dancing with the Stars finale – and released the artwork for her new single “Dark Side”!

Kelly recently shared she’s having trouble writing songs now that she’s happily in a relationship with talent manager Brandon Blackstock.

“It’s killing me. I’m trying to write a tough song and it is coming out like butterflies and rainbows,” she told People.

“It’s ruining my creativity,” Kelly joked. “I’m writing all this happy [stuff] … People are going to be, like, ‘What the hell happened to you.’ It has been really difficult. I love it. It’s an awesome problem to have.”
