Jada Pinkett Smith Lands Villain Role in FOX's Batman Prequel 'Gotham'!

Jada Pinkett Smith has just landed the role of the villain in Fox’s Batman prequel series Gotham.

The 42-year-old actress will play Fish Mooney, who is a sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner with street smarts and extra-sensory abilities to read people like an open book. Fish Mooney is imposing, hotheaded, and not to be crossed.

Ben McKenzie has signed on to play Commissioner Gordon, and lots of other characters, including Alfred and The Penguin, have also already been announced.

Gotham will premiere in the 2014-15 season on FOX.
