James Franco on His Instagrams: 'It's What the People Want!'

James Franco heads back to his car after signing autographs for fans outside the Late Show with David Letterman‘s studio on Thursday (May 8) in New York City.

During his interview, the 36-year-old actor talked about his controversial Instagram pictures, including the nearly nude selfie he recently posted.

“Now there’s a lot to say about this!” James said. “It’s not like I’m putting that on billboards! Ostensibly, Instagram is for my fans, but now all the bloggers are following me on there so they’ll just take it and use my images for whatever they want.”

“I didn’t ask you to look at it,” James added when Dave said the picture was provocative. “It’s what the people want!”
