Richard Glatzer Dead - 'Still Alice' Co-Director Dies at 62 From ALS Complications
Richard Glatzer, who directed the film Still Alice with his husband Wash Westmoreland, has passed away at the age of 62 from complications due to ALS, Variety reports.
The 62-year-old director died today (March 11) in Los Angeles. Richard and Wash also directed Quinceanera and The Fluffer together.
Still Alice won Julianne Moore an Oscar last month. Richard also co-wrote the screenplay for the film. The movie also stars Kristen Stewart. It is about a linguistics professor and her family who find their bonds tested when she is diagnosed with Early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease.
