'Zootopia' Soars to No. 1 at the Box Office for Second Weekend
The new animated flick Zootopia easily won this weekend’s box office race with a whopping $50 million gross in its second weekend!
According to EW, the Disney movie crossed the $100 million mark domestically.
Coming in at No. 2 was 10 Cloverfield Lane, starring John Goodman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, which earned $25.2 million.
Taking the third spot was Ryan Reynold‘s superhero film Deadpool, which raked in an additional $10.8 million for a domestic total of $328.1 million so far.
Rounding out the top five were Gerard Butler‘s London Has Fallen, and Tina Fey‘s Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which grossed $10.7 million and $4.6 million, respectively.
Meanwhile, Sacha Baron Cohen‘s new movie The Brothers Grimsby opened to $3.2 million.
