Mark Wahlberg Begins Filming 'Patriots Day' in Boston

The 44-year-old actor is starring in the movie, and also has a producing credit for the film!

Michelle Monaghan was just added to the cast of the movie about the Boston Marathon bombings that tragically took the lives of many back in 2013.

Michelle will be playing the wife of Mark‘s Sgt. Tommy Saunders.

“In the aftermath of the attack heroes appeared from every corner of Boston,” director Peter Berg said in a statement (via EW). “Michelle is a remarkable actress who knows the people of this city and understands their courage and strength.”
