Will Smith Speaks About Islamophobia During 'Suicide Squad' Press Tour

Will Smith poses for a photo with British Airways pilots and crew during an exclusive Q&A about his role in his latest blockbuster Suicide Squad on Sunday (August 7) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The 47-year-old actor spoke about the perception of the Middle East in other parts of the world.

“In terms of Islamophobia in America, for me that’s why it’s important to show up,” Will said (via Yahoo.) “The Middle East can’t allow Fox News to be the arbiter of the imagery, you know. So cinema is a huge way to be able to deliver the truth of the soul of a place to a global audience.”
